FRANCE, France – This article contains a translation of the English-language dictionary by the National Library of France.
The French version of the Dictionary of French, published by the French National Library, is a one-stop-shop for all the essential terms, phrases and concepts found in the language of France, as well as for vocabulary, grammar, history and more.
The English version, by the British-based online dictionary dictionary, was published in 2016.
A total of 16 million copies have been produced and are available at online libraries and at the National Archive of France (NFA) , a public institution established by the country’s constitutional monarchy.
