The San Francisco 49ers have one of the most exciting young quarterbacks in the NFL.
The San Diego Chargers are in dire need of depth, and the Tennessee Titans could use a quarterback.
Here are five teams in need, and why.1.
San Francisco49ers: QB Matt BarkleyMatt Barkley started his college career at Texas A&M.
He went on to play at Tennessee and was a three-year starter at that position.
He was the starting quarterback at Tennessee in 2014 and 2015, but it didn’t work out.
He finished his career with 4,564 yards, 30 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
Barkley is the younger brother of 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.2.
San DiegoChargers: OLB Brandon MebaneBrandon Meban is coming off a season where he started for the first time in five years.
He’s a three year starter at left tackle, and he’s coming off one of his best seasons.
He is a big-time run defender, so he’ll be a good fit for the Chargers, who need to find another inside linebacker and they could be looking at former 49ers first round pick T.J. Watt.3.
Tennessee Titans: CB Jalen MillsThe Titans have some needs at cornerback, and Jalen Matthews is a guy who could fit into their defense.
He has been one of their most productive cornerbacks over the past three seasons.
The Titans have also lost a lot of talent along the offensive line over the years.4.
Tennessee Chargers: WR Dorial Green-BeckhamThe Chargers have two young receivers in Dorial and Keenan Allen, but they also have a ton of need at wide receiver.
With Keenan coming off the bench in 2015, the Chargers will have to replace a lot at wideout.
They could target Dorial, who could help at that spot.5.
Denver Broncos: LB Dontari PoeDenver is in need at linebacker, but one of its biggest needs is a strong safety.
The Broncos also have to make a move up the depth chart at safety, but a strong offseason can help them there.
Here’s a look at each of the team’s needs:1.
New York Jets: CB Jourdan LewisJourdan will be one of those young players who makes a splash in the draft.
He can play outside, but he can also play in the slot.
Lewis has spent his career in the Jets’ secondary.
He played cornerback at Texas from 2012-2016, and in 2016, he started 15 games and recorded 16 tackles and two interceptions.
